to wrap up his transfer to the Ruhr club shortly.
While talking to the media, the Croatian International said that he was very hopeful of completing his transfer to BVB by the end of the season and it has now been suggested that the transfer would be made official in the coming days.
The 22-year-old attacker said, "This was my last game for Club Brugge. I have had two great seasons here, but I am ready to make the next step in my career," before admitting that he had told everyone that he was already eying a move to the German champions
and also indicated that the news regarding his transfer would be made official on Sunday. The former Sochaux man was the top scorer of the Belgian league this season after he scored a brace in his last game for Brugge.
At the age of just 17, the 1.87 m tall was already attracting a lot of interest from the likes of Ajax Amsterdam, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RSC-Anderlecht-c40394 but he eventually signed for Ligue 1 side FC Sochaux. At the start of his career, many journalists
compared him to legendary Croatian midfielder, Aljoša Asanović, who played for Yugoslavian giants Hajduk Split. The youngster found opportunities hard to come by at Sochaux and was eventually offloaded to Club Brugge in August 2009. Since then, Perisic has
made 59 appearances for the Blauw-Zwart and has scored 25 goals.
Upon his arrival, many Belgian critics had predicted a bright future for the young attacking midfielder and the youngster has lived up to his billing so far. A move to Borussia Dortmund would surely be a good one for both the club and Perisic, as Dortmund
is a club that has always been good at getting the best out of talented youngsters.
