  1. Presuming your swing is "normal" swing, your lie angle is standard, but all your clubs need to be shortened by 3/4 inch.

But get fitted you may have longer than usual arms which mean your clubs need to be shortened even further.  Vice versa.

  2. Although I am a professional club fitter.......I would not presume to tell you what your particular requirements may be without actually doing the measurements myself....That includes analysis of several data points only one of which is a lie board.

  3. Nothing matters on lie angle except for if the club is "lying" flat on the ground at impact. This means the toe of the club cannot be too upright or too low. the way you cheack this is go to your course and ask for impact tape and a plastic club fitting board. They will usually provide this for free. Then hit a golf ball. Where ever the spot is darkest is where the bottom of the club mainly hits  the ground. If your mark is too far right you need your clubs more upright. If it is too far left you need it flattened.

  4. depends arm lentgth . you will need to be fitted for lie angle definatly .  if you pull short irons  flatter lies . if you push short irons  upright lie . grip size also important. for you hieght . it costs nothing to go to clubfitter . 3 dollars per iron to adjust lie . best money ever spent .

  5. It depends on many things.  Such as your stance, your grip etc...  You need to get your clubs at a place, or if you already have your clubs and want them adjusted, at a place that will fit you.  That is the absolutely best thing you can do.  It makes a huge difference, yet most people do not do it.  They will get your alignment right and will get it set for your height etc...

If you do this you are one giant step ahead of other players with similar skills or scores.

Good Luck and toss me 10 pts if this helps you decide what to do.

    thanks,

  6. It depends on your swing more so than your static measurements.  You needuch to get measured on a lie board for it to be accurate.  The sole needs to be flush with the ground at impact not at address.  Your measurements should fall on the flat side if I had to guess.
