  1. Have you played club before?  It's not just expensive but also a big time commitment.  If you love to play, it's usually worth it.  If you really want to be as good of a player as you can be, it's usually worth it.

It's not worth it if you are playing because you think you should or because someone else says you should.  It's also usually not worth it if you are playing in order to get a college scholarship.

It is expensive, and every family's finances are different.  Talk to your parents about the cost beforehand.

Note:  Club volleyball season is pretty much over.  You won't really need to make the club decision until late fall.  Wait and see how your junior season plays out.

  2. It depends if you really want to write out all the pros and cons and make your decision from that.

    Ask yourself questions like

do I want to spend that much money?

    will it be worth i?

how much do I love volley ball?

Are you willing to make a commitment?

    do I have time?

I played club volleyball and I loved I was sure if I really wanted to do it, I tried out and made the A team and loved going to every practice.  I made my decision the way I described above.

    I hope this helped,

PS- if you do try out go luck!! :) :)
