Clubbing in Varadero?

I am going to Varadero with my friends this May. I would like to know where should i stay to be close to clubs? How long would it take us to get from where hotels are to where the clubs are by taxi and are there main roads going to where the clubs are? basically, how safe is it going off the resort at night?

ummmmmmm i dont understand why ur in the cancun section but for varadero, go to the rumba, the #1 club there, all the party  people go there
