Clubpenguin how do you light the torches?

i just want to ask this how do you light the torches in clubpenguin at the town the rest work just that the one at town doesn't and i really want the medal ,please help

stand in between the green rope things and stand quite close to it!

you have to wait then it should go yellow then go onto the next one :)

If some are starting to not work, just restart the marathon. That happened to me as well.

If you leave the track, you basically quit the race.
