  1. I remember feeling like yourself after my second was at full time schooling, so I do think it's natural to feel it and I did have another baby and don't regret it but once he was off to school I didn't feel "the empty nest " thing I was ready then to go out to work.

  3. Sounds like you have been a stay at home mommy so long you don't know what to do. you can go for a part time job, volunteer or work at the school at lunches and such, then you keep the same scedual as the kids but stay busy. You can also pick up a hobby, something for you. Gardening, painting, so on.

I found painting things was a nice time filler, I make picture frames and do flower baskets and such. Keeps me busy and makes great personal gifts.

  4. I did the exact same thing, once one was old enough to zip up their own coat, put on their clothes by them-self, tie their shoe and was off to daycare, usually at the age of 3, I got the empty nest syndrome, that is why I had three, but you know what, that part of the nest being empty has nothing to do with the more serious syndrome that occurs later when they leave for college, or just "life" in general, so I guess I say all this to say, enjoy what part of the empty nest syndrome you have now because the older version is a total "B".     God Bless.
