Clydal Jack to intimidate the Bord Na Mona A2 525 – Round 1 – Heat 4
The two-year-old, Clydal Jack, has been pretty consistent through the last three starts and is very lightly raced during the new season. The Grade A2 Bord Na Mona A2 525 – Round 1 – Heat 4 will be raced over 525 yards at Harold’s Cross on Friday, 10th
August.
Taking part for getting entitled to the €50 are Whatsonjack, Paradise Tequila, Skippy Go Lucky, Daring Panther and Rathdaniel King.
Hometown Boy’s two-year-old son has raced five times during the new season and has won at three different occasions.
He won the seasonal debut on 25th May, 2012 over 525 yards. Leashing out of the fourth trap, racing away quickly and not giving up on the lead got him the race in 28.87 seconds. He won by an impressive margin of ten lengths as Galloon Dasher settled
as the runner-up.
The very next race of the M. Clyne trained saw him losing conviction and confidence with finishing fifth on 2nd June, 2012 over 525 yards.
Without any training or a drilling session the two-year-old right away struck a back-to-back.
On 18th June, 2012, Clydal Jack won a 525 yards race by being quick to get hold of the lead and concluding the race in 28.94 seconds. He defeated the runner-up, Gairneybridge, by 2 ½ lengths.
The very next attempt of the two-year-old out of, Clydal Susie, was at the same venue and over the same distance on 6th July, 2012. He was fast to race away after leaving the third gate and then remained in lead for the rest of the distance. It
took him 29.20 seconds for landing the race and that too while leading by 2 ½ lengths.
Qualifying as the runner-up of the race was, Royal Highflyer.
The most recent attempt of the two-year-old black hound was in the Grade A2 Pick 6 Jackpot Starts Now 525 on 20th July, 2012 at Harold’s Cross over 525 yards. Getting bumped first and then running on had the hound on the other end of the wire
in 29.25 seconds while leading by 3 ½ lengths.
His chances of landing the race tonight are 7 to 2.
