Cm to ft and inches?

could someone pls tell me how to convert from cm to ft and inches because it is so confusing. pls give an example e.g here is a number 169cm, can you pls convert it to ft an inches so i know how to go on from there. can it be step by step how u converted and the formula's pls. i really suck at conversions and it's blocking my moving on
