Vegas Night!  Have the chaperones be poker dealers and have the chips be to win some cheap prizes.  Mom can mix non-alcoholic drinks in the background.  Also, for food, just a bunch of finger foods should be fine. Have a room with music, dark lighting, and chips for the slackers ; )

Movie night.  Get some OLD black and white Godzilla movies, popcorn and candy.  Make rude comments about the movies and make up your own dialogue.  Have you ever watched the Mystery Theater 3000 with the aliens in the foreground making fun of the old sci-fi movies like "Day of the Triffids"?  Loads of fun.

a backyard luau. You can find hawiian themed stuff everywhere right now. Then you can make good blended drinks and it can be fun :)

Pizza and fried chicken. Also have some soda and another beverage that is not carbonated like juice. Several large bags of chips and some  finger food sized vegetables with ranch dressing should do the trick.
