Co-signer?

Question

My aunt co-signed on a car with me about two years ago. Her name is first on the loan because she has better credit than me. I've been making all the payments 4,000 worth, I have all my bank statements proving that fact. I am 15 days late on my recent payment and now she is threatening to take the car. Is she allowed to do that?

her credit is on the line 2 however i do not believe she can repo the car

Is she a cosigner or a coborrower?  There's a big difference.  If she's a coborrower, she is also a co-owner.
