O.k. so a lady I work with walked out and quit last week......yesterday she called and made threats and she was arrested............SO today they are pulling everyone into H.R. that talked to her at work and asking if she is really threat....WTF...............Should'nt they warn employees that she has made threats to come and Shot people and blow the place up? We have security at work and they armed but what about when you walk out that locked door into the parking lot to go to your car?

  1. om my gosh YES they should be posting notices. they should also see about having extra security in other areas besides the building. she won't be arrested forever and will most likely come out fighting mad. to bad you can't telecommute for your job. (work at home). so sorry hun. i hope she gets some help.

  2. I am so thankful I live in the state of Alaska because I have a small gun in a holster for feminine protection, but I would use it to protect anyone that was being harmed.  I have training in the use and our local police department offers classes to educate in the use of firearms.  you can't see it when I walk around to get to my car, but God help anyone that messes with me and my co-workers.  The people where you work should be made aware of this nut case and have a protective order against her.  Get everyone to petition to have a citizens arrest.  People like that should be locked up.  Hopefully someone will make her clock stop ticking!!!!!

  3. Due to all the violence at the schools and work sites, it's great that your HR got together and put a plan together in case she does something.  That's what we were trained to do regarding domestic violence cases when a spouse goes after the other at their work site.  People need to have a plan in case of a situation. Schools now practice it, just like a fire drill.  If you had a plan, you would probably feel alot safer.

  4. all employees have the right to know about these threats and it is the sole responsibility for the company to take all safety precautions to keep their employees safe at all time.

security should be present in the parking lot while employees are coming or going  from work
