  1. OH MY GOODNESS!  Wow -- Here is something I used to do at the hospital where I worked:  Ask someone from security to walk to your car with you.  Believe me, they don't mind, and totally understand.

    Be CAREFUL.

  2. I saw that happen down in KY with the people that were killed.  Scary.  I do think that they should have let you know and to be on the lookout for anything.  I once worked at a country club and no one was told that a girl had been raped in the parking night the night before.  We had to park out in the back 40 and were never warned.  There was so much anger once that surfaced.  Everyone's ears and eyes should be open when someone makes threats in today's world.

  3. WOW!  That scary.  YES, they should warn everyone.

Watch your back.  Have a plan at all times.  Know where you would go and what you would do if someone walked in at that very moment.  Keep your cell phone handy.

A few years ago, a 'disgruntled employee' walked into a Lockheed plant in my town and just started shooting people.  He killed a bunch of people.  I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to know that it really does happen.

  4. I agree with you that for the safety of the employees and the welfare of the employees that they should but first because of the laws they have to cover themselves and get both sides of the stories by getting the people she threatened into HR and their side of the story.  Then the police will be involved and if the police and the company HR and the owner feel it is necessary then everyone will be told.  The reason for this is because if the company makes "comments" about her making "threats to come and shoot people and blow the place up" and they weren't true or part of them weren't true or whatever she could sue the company.  I understand your thoughts 100%, but the company is worried about being sued, trust me.  Honestly, I'm shocked that they haven't informed everyone already but that is my personal opinion.

    Peace & Love :)
