Coach Gary Kubiak targets Chicago Bears’ game in Houston Texans’ preparations – NFL News
Houston Texans’ proud coach Gary Kubiak said he is targeting preparations for the upcoming Chicago Bears’ game, sensing that their defence is well built and they will need to put in extra effort to beat them at their home-ground.
Thanks to superb teamwork under supervision of Gary, Texans maintain a perfect record in the American Football Conference (AFC) and look forward to toppling the Bears as well.
Gary said:
"They are very well-built in what they do and they've been together for a long time. A lot of players have played a lot of football together. What they're doing speaks for itself. I could go on and on, but we have a serious task ahead of us."
The coach said he was targeting some of things in the training sessions, which they have not done so far or did not do very well, and praised the level of maturity that his players have shown so far.
He went on to say:
"We talk about things we didn't do good, things that if we do this in Chicago it's going to get us beat. I think good teams are hard on themselves when they win. Our guys are very good about that, very mature."
Although he did not divulge on the strategy he is going to adopt against the Bears, it nevertheless is an open secret that the Texans’ will plot their high-paced offence against their opponents next week.
Quarterback Matt Schaub, wide receiver Andre Johnson and running back Arian Foster have immensely contributed to the team’s victories and will be crucial to the team’s performance in the next game.
It is courtesy of the performances of the trio that the Texans are heading into the next game with impressive record of 7-1. They are leading the AFC South after comfortably beating some of tougher opponents.
Still, the coach has refrained from making the victories a celebrating factor at this juncture of the season. He is targeting each game with a different approach as far as the team’s preparations are concerned, and has warned his players against falling
prey to complacency.
