Coach Waqar Younis wants Top Notch fielding
With the series against South Africa starting from 26th of October in Abu Dhabi, the Pakistan Cricket Coach Waqar Younis wants his players to show top notch fielding in order to counter the Proteas.
Waqar admitted that although he is focusing on three areas - batting, bowling and fielding; fielding still remains his priority since Pakistan exhibited an extremely poor fielding show this summer in England, where, many crucial
catches were dropped and run outs missed, which proved to be Achilles’ heel for Pakistan in England.
Waqar was also not pleased with the standard of fielding in the domestic T20 tournament. Waqar, however, showed full confidence in his side and believed that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 are in for a tough series.
Previously, Pakistan has hired the services of fielding legends, such as the likes of Jonty Rhodes to coach the Pakistani side in short term field coaching camps, but the improvement in the fielding has always been short lived.
Due to the lack of lush green, even cricket grounds in Pakistan, cricket has always been marred by poor fielding; the cure of which lies in improving domestic fielding standard.

With the two main bowling guns, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif out of the squad due to spot fixing fiasco, new bowlers will be trying to dent the solid South African batting. Shoaib Akhtar’s presence will have its own impact as
he still remains a stinging bowler.
Waqar Younis showed his full confidence in Shoaib Akhtar, but told reporters that Shoaib cannot perform miracles at his age.
With an experienced bowler such as Akhtar, the younger bowlers will have to chip in and take the leading role.
Poor wicket keeping in the recent English series caused the ouster of Kamran Akmal as the premier wicketkeeper of the Pakistan side, paving way for a younger wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider for the upcoming series starting this
