ok so when im older my dream is to be the coach of an AFL team such as the brisbane lions.

Can anyone give me any advice on these aspects :-

- When do i need to start doing coaching course and where is the

best place to?

- Do i need to be like a player first to be able to come a coach?

- What steps should i take to get there?

- What qualifications do i need and how can i get them?

- Where can i find good coaching resources on the net?

if you can answer all those questions i will be so happy (:

  3. OMG! i want to be an AFL coach! im a chick obviously, and i love AFL. my dream would be to coach the Collingwood side. um, do as many sports and science classes possible. like Health and physical education, chemistry, biology wateva else. I would try and start the coaching course in year 11, so by the time you have finished the course you will still be under 25 and try and do it in a capital city. Melbourne would probably be the best place to do the course becasue we are the sporting capital. um, i dont think you need to be like a player. you just need to study as much as you can coz its guna be soo hard to do the course you want. just give it your all and hopefully youll get there. i want to become a sports commentator for AFL or Athletics so im guna try my hardest to get there. Good luck with it and i hope i helped.
