Do you think it's wise to shift your car or truck in neutral and/or turn off the engine when going down hill just to save some gas?

  1. No it is very dangerous

  2. shifting into neutral, maybe, but shutting off the engine, unless the hill is like 2 miles long, isn't going to save you any gas because it takes more gas to start the car than you would save.  i wish they would just make gas prices a dollar again!

  3. This is not only illegal in all states but it is very dangerous as well.
