We live in an apartment building that has a TV antenna on the roof (Canada). The TV has a female and the box in the apt from the roof is male. We only have a male/male coxial cable. Can we just buy one of the little adapters that has male an female and connect the wires that way. Plug the wire into the tv. The other end of the cable to the little converter plug an the plug into the socket on the wall.

To make it easier

TV: Female

CABLE: Male/Male

Wall socket: Male
