Cobra 66 LTD CB Radio parts and repair?

i have an old cobra cb radio and i would like to get it up and running again but i am lacking a power supply and above that i think the mic is in need of some rewireing and repair can anyone provide me some info on anyone who would know anything about this cb radio?

  1.    If you would like to repair this one yourself, I'm providing a link to CBC International they have all the schematics and how to do books on cobra's etc. With the mic, the cord at the connector usually breaks from flexing, truckers have this problem all the time with the mic hanging from the mirror. Gearbox got it right about the truck-stops having CB repair shops on site.

    As for the power supply for base use, go to eBay under Power Supplies you will find some good deals.

  2. Many people know about this cb radio but your specific question is not helpful.

    There are repair manuals but I can't find them anymore online.

    Basically on the microphone, a hand mic is only $20 so if it's not a specialty mic, it's easier to can it and restart over again with a new microphone

    For websites to go to, You can look in your local phone directory for radio-citizens band, many truck stops offer some parts for Cbs, or try the two websites I have in the sources for the parts you need
