I would like to keep the original hood its 1999. I have seen many times that it has been done in forums and theres talk about the towers on the side of the grille hitting the hood on account that they are taller sience the only damage is not visible without the hood being open is it really that bad that it could spread. Also will the towers bow out when the hood hits them. I also heard of lowering the whole thing so it wont hit would this not leave a gap at the fenders. My other concern is the grille delete is the 3 piece necessary or does the bumper close the from the grille back and just the pony would do. Lastly what would be the best place does not have to be oem but would like a good mix of price and quality leaning more on the quality side.Any pictures of it being done mostly the gap and the grille delete are appreciated.

  1. NO!!  THAT WOULD LOOK TERRIBLE.. Forget the v6, go out and get a real Mustang or Cobra

  2. I found a kit that hads a grille adapter:

This site suggested that installing a body kit is not a do-it-yourslf project. They suggested a full-service body shop so that mods would be easier to deal with
