Coca-Cola in the washing machine?

My cousin says he swears if you put Coke in the washer with white clothes it will remove stains. Has anybody tried it? Does it work? Thanks. =]

I heard club soda not coke. club soda is clear and helps with some stains

We use coke to clean the terminals on car batteries.  In the wash, I use bleach (side dispenser) and add oxy-wash with the soap.

hmm,

caramel coloring and high fructose corn syrup with white clothes..  unlikely.  Club soda perhaps.  Coke might work with colors and chrome.

no actually COKE will stain clothes....so don't do it.

mabey it was me or my washer but it did not work for me sorry
