hi.both my parents are diabetics but they always drinks coca cola light but my sister is a doctor and she says that whether its light or the normal coca cola its not good for diabetics patients coz it contained synthetic sugar.

It is not entirely sugar-free just less sugar. Not advisable for diabetics though. Bear in mind the sugar still increases your glucose concentration level. Best thing to do is avoid carbonated drinks. But if you have a serious craving for it, light coke mixed with a little water just for the occasion is fine.

My aunt is diabetic and she drinks it.  So, I guess its okay.

coca cola light does contain sugar, just less of it. its not fantastic for diebetics. your better off with anything from the "zero" range, such as fanta zero ect. these are called zero as they do not contain sugar.
