  1. Different metals.

  2. um, ok? odd question. no offense.

btw, the can is a different metal then the nail.

    im confused now...

    =P

  3. thats bull

it wont dissolve the nail how gullible are you

  4. A nail?  Well, most colas and sodas are quite acidic.  If you were to gargle soda on a regular basis, it would actually corrode your enamel.  Whether or not a nail can actually dissolve over time in a can of coke (it would probably take weeks, if not more), the can itself is made of aluminum, which is very durable and doesn't succumb to corrosion much at all.  That's why we use it to cover up garlic bread and other such things in ovens.  And nails aren't typically made from aluminum.  Usually iron or steel or something else.

  5. i have heard that for yrs. if its true i hate to see my stomach inside..but thats a good thought.. i dont belive every thing i hear,,

  6. haha cause coke doesnt dissolve nails !!

  7. On the other side of that is:

If you put a nail in a cup of gastric juice from your stomach, the nail will dissolve.

How does your stomach not dissolve with all that acid?

  8. Good observation!

  9. depends on what the nail is made of.  it might only work on a certain type of nail.  Not aluminum.

  10. because its aluminum and its more stronger, i have heard that pepsi and cola are really bad but they taste so good...:) did u knew that u can leave your toilot seat sparkilng clean using pepsi......

  11. why don't you put a nail in a cup of coca cola, and find out.
