Hi Guys

We are touring Kerala next month. I have two days left. Where would I spend it? Cochin Or Trivandrum. Which is better. mainly looking at shopping and sight seeing.

Cochin is the best destination in kerala when you motive is shopping and sightseeing.

i strongly recommend kochi.. All the sight seeing places as well as the shoping area re within reachable area.. the fun in kochi is you have possibilities of visiting the town on land or in a boat.. very good sea food by the Chinese fishing net area and splendid shopping opportunity in jewish town..

For shopping definitely Cochin is good. You will find a good collection of sarees & dress materials. Even handicrafts & antuiques are available near the Jewish town. You will find loads of huge shops flooded with gold & diamonds.

For the sightseeing you have the Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, Wellington Island, Marine Road, MG Road, Mattancherry Palace, Dutch Palace, Churches etc.

I think u shud check out kochi!!

Dutch palace, jewish synagog,hill palace 4 sightseeing!

4 shopping u can have the whole marine drive and Broadway (MG road)!

Trivandrum will be better choice. You can spend one day in Kanyakumari.

Cochin is better.

Fort Kochi for the sights.

Ernakulam for the shopping.

Buy silk sarees at Jayalakshmi on MG road.

And spices, cashews etc.

Munnar tea as well
