Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) plans to raise INR2500 crore (USD618.4 million) through an initial public offer slated anytime between April and Decemeber 2009.



The IPO which will divert 26% of CIAL's equity will finance an areotropolis, a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) unit and aviation academy planned in vicinity of airport. Of the 26% , 20% will be for public and 6% will be given as employee stock options.
