Cockateil laid egg?

Well I dont breed we were given 3 cockatiels and the one just laid a egg, Im not a breeder and was just asking for help.

are you sure there is a male in the mixture? because i had 2 females (for sure i had them sexed) and one always laid eggs, they never hatched obviously because it wasn't fertilized. im not sure how true it is, but i heard happy cockatiels lay eggs.
