Cockatiel Help! My bird now for some reason doesnt like me anymore! What should I do?

Question

I haven done anything different then what I have like change clothes or re model anything or move her cage. She just started being afraid of me and flying away from me. What can I do to get her to like me again? Please help!

All birds have their good days and bad days, leave the bird alone today and try again tommorrow. Anything you do while it's having a bad day it will remember so leave it alone and respects it's space. Tommorrow will be a better day for you both.

If she's afraid, there's a reason.  You just have to figure it out :-)

Did you change the way you wear your hair?  New jewelry?  Clothing with a different color or even a particular picture, design or with writing on it?  Anything at ALL new in the room?  Have you moved her cage?  Is she seeing something outside a window that might frighten her?  Cats, owls, hawks, even something caught on a wire could frighten her.

Did you do anything at all to break her trust?  If so,  you'll have to work on building it back up again.

Sometimes the reason for sudden fear is hard to figure out but place yourself in your bird's body and look through her eyes.  There must be something out there that's spooky to her.

Well, that happened to me to, The bird still hates me. they tried to bite me so many times.

Buy "The Parrot Handbook" and learn all you can.  You can rebuild the trust if you follow the directions.
