Cockatiel will some one answer me please!!!!?

its been like ten time i asked the question today. how many times do cockatiel breed in a year. also i put up the nest for my cockatiels and they are scared and wont go in they dnt even care for it. they started at if for a while but now they dont even care. what to do. there is pine shavings.

cockatiels are very suspicious of new things thar you introduce to them.  In the wild they build their own nests so it will take a while for them to get used to a man made nesr you put in their cage.  Be patient.

they breed only in the spring i believe, they will keep breeding until they have surviving eggs.

You should only allow your tiels to breed at the max twice a year to keep them healthy. Not one right after the other either. Once at the beginning of the year, then again 6 months or so later.

They can breed all year round, and if you encourage them, can lay multiple times, but after a very short time, your hen will end up with a lack of vital nutrients such as calcium, and can end up very sick, can get egg bound, end up dying, and then you won't be able to breed anything....
