Cockatiellll....??????

my cockatiel is pacing back and forth on the bottom of her cage, is she sick? besides this, she is acting or looking sick at all...

actually cockatiel love to be on the floor. she is not sick whats so ever when a bird is sick it will be fluffed up on the cage corner on the floor. but yeah cockatiels do try to hide there illness. give her some toys or play with her. cockatiels need to be out of the cage 60% of there time

you should lether out of the cage. None of my birds are in the cage ever. :) ever:)

A lot of things can happend if they are bored out of their mind every day.

Let him out, scahne his toys every 2 weeks ...

but the most important is let him out.

Sometimes they will do that simply thinking they want out of their cage, it doesn't mean that they are sick at all. If she was sick she wouldn't be walking around.

My female did that when she was in breeding mode- then she would start trying to pull up the newspaper from between the bars, to make a nest.   Maybe that is what she is doing but can't find anything to make a nest from.  I would call your vet or bird store for a professional opinion.

She is probably just extremely bored. Get her a new array of toys, get her out and play with her, give her some music to listen to.

Birds have to be entertained other wise they get bored which can stress them out.

Well the only time my birds are on the cage floor is because they are facing the cage door. This is when i let them out. So maybe your tiel' is trying to either tell you, to let her out or she is bored to death. Make sure is isn't down there to eat her p**p or anything else that could be down there. Good Luck! =)
