Question:

Cockroach Question?

My girlfriend claims she saw a cockroach about the size of a rat. Not only did she see it, a guy who was a former boxer and security guard stomped on it 4 times and it didn't die. In fact it was well enough to run away as fast as it can.

What is the size limit of the average German cockroach that infests American homes, and how do some roaches get so big.

The equivilent I think would be a human getting to be around 20 to 30 feet tall and weighing around 1500 lbs.

  1. German and American roaches are really big at 3/4 to 1 inch. Your girlfriend is a liar. Hissing roaches get to be about 3 inches long and Giant Cave roaches about 4 inches. EDIT Roaches cannot live without heads. EDIT 2 Ed must be a tiny Texan.

  2. idk but cockroackes can live up to 10 days without its head.maybe that's why it didn't die

  3. In Texas, we saddle 'em up and ride 'em.
