Cocktail dinner on cruise...what to wear!?

I have never been on a cruise so I'm not really sure what to wear to the cocktail dinner.

Here is what I have in mind....(I have the gold dress from the link below, will that be okay to wear on a cocktail dinner for a cruise?)

Wear a red halter dress a black shiny belt black shoes black necklace black earring black bracelet black alligator textured clutch have fun and look HOT

A dress of any kind would be appropriate as long as you look nice, dont dress inappropriately and violate there dress code I think you should be fine. There might be pictures taken so if you feel confident in the dress wear it!

Ive never Been on a Cruise but heres my opnion ( im going on one soon ) BRING BOTH as long as the coctail dinner isnt the first night ... you might wanna get a feel for what people wear and once you there you can decide , but the ky is to look s**y - dont over do it though ! have fun !

Either dress would be fine for formal night, but the black and white one would be better for any regular night of dinning.  On formal night, you will see anything from prom type dresses, to cocktail dresses, to nice slacks and a sparkley top. Don't worry, no matter what you were, you will be fine. Just no shorts in the dinning room.

yes both would be fine. i esp. like the dress from macy's... whatever one looks the best! have fun!
