Cocktails that are dark burgundy or pure white?

I'm picking a "specialty" cocktail for my wedding reception. Can anyone help me find recipes for martinis or mixed drinks that are these colors? Pictures/links help too.

  1. Pomegranate martini would be a dark red color as well as a blackberry martini - as for white you can have them make white russians...

  2. Burgundy would be either a wine: Burgundy, Claret, Bordeaux, Merlot;  or if you want mixed, Pomegranate.

White would be creams or milk: White Russians, for example.

If you want martinis, do a cranberry martini. Add a cranberry (or cran/apple) juice to a regular martini, maybe cut down the vermouth. Or you could use grenadine for color.

White martini's would be tough. I don't know if I'd just add cream/milk to gin.
