a series of adrenaline-pumping action as the surfers sought to advance through into the Quarter-finals without having to surf in Round 4.
The third heat of Round 3 saw Moore, the reigning ASP Women’s World Champion, take on Ho and Peterson in a triple-threat battle.
As the heat got underway, Moore got off to an excellent start, scoring a massive 9.15 off her first business-wave to grab an early lead. She went on to back it up with a 7.10-point ride to take her heat-total to 16.25 points, a real competitive score.

While both Peterson and Moore put on superb performances, the experience of Ho allowed her to get the better of both her competitors to advance through into the Quarter-finals.
