Cocoa Beah- Localism?

hey im goin down to florida next weekend and might be makin a stop at cocoa beach. is there a local thing there? if it means anythig i jus surf alright

  1. There are very few localized east coast breaks.  Cocoa Beach is not one of them.  Cocoa Beach is pretty much just a bunch of  of beach breaks with the Pier thrown in.  Pick a spot and go out.  Or head out down to Second Light at Patrick AFB or Sebastien Inlet.  Sebastien is localized but if you avoid the first peak you shouldn't have problems.  As with any spot you're visiting just show some respect.


  2. Mostly anywhere you go, there is a local group. Just play it cool, show respect to them and their break and you'll be greeted openly.

  4. There is a lot to do in Coco beach, and the people are terrific.

  5. There is hardly any surf in Florida, except hurricane season.
