Coconut Oil Pills Good For Hair?

Question

I want to start using coconut oil in my hair but the only place i know that has it is GNC but its only in soft gel capsules. Can i use them in my hair or should i get it in the regular oil/cream form?

get the regular coconut oil. They sell it at Whole Foods, Central Market, and Trader Joe's if you have on near you. Just warm it up a little and apply all over your hair at night before you go to bed and when you wake up wash it out.

make sure you get pure unrefined cold pressed coconut oil. Coconut oil should be the only ingredient.

Olive oil is great for hair. Cheaper and easy to find. Just rub it in then wash it out.

well..... I tried using coconut oil, I actually bought it at my local beauty supply in a jar. The problem: my hair hates anything with mineral oil or oil based products period and I think that goes for everyone, you can try it, smooth it on and it will make it shiny but after a while it will be hard to shampoo off and you will be left with sticky hair. Now a solution, I got rid of all that stuff I bought to grow my hair and started focusing on cleansing my scalp with a clarifying shampoo and sometimes head and shoulders and moisturizing my hair with a deep conditioning mask once a week, I never let my hair air dry because I find that my hair hates it so I dry it under a bonnet hair dryer of course I do leave in a bit of conditioner and when I set my hair in curlers I use a a mixture of water and a teeny small amount of coconut oil conditioner to smooth my hair onto the curler. I trim my ends once a month and so far my hair looks healthier. Hair is like nails you have to cut it ( I like to trim and file mine) and after a awhile it will start growing stronger. If you still see no improvements change your diet and cut off junk foods cause let me tell ya it's killer for every part of your body. Good Luck!

The oil will clog your hair follicles and prevent them from growing while promoting hair loss. You should reconsider the product.
