Code doesn't work for all functions on cox remote

Question

i have an olivis 32" lcd tv and i can't get the cox remote to change the channels.i did use the code 1610 and it turns the tv on and off and volume up and down but the channel change won't work . the red ligh keeps jumping to the aux button . the button tv stays on tv when using on and off or volume...is there something i am doing wrong?thanks
