Hi , my brother is in Buenes Aires until march and has bought a phone in buenes aires to communicate with his argentinian friends anyone know the mobile code to ring from ireland ? only have the mobile number

you have to dial 00 for international, 54 for Argentina, 9 for mobiles (only when you call from outside the country) and the area code where he bought the mobile, in his case 11 for buenos Aires. thus the number to dial will be 0054911 followed by his mobile number. A mobile number in Buenos Aires is composed of 8 digits. If you see 10 digits, most probably the first two will be "15" and this should be removed when calling from outside the country. Complex I know, I have no clue who was behind this!
