  1. Try K-Lite codec pack its codec pack and media player as well.

    or you can try VLC

    these players are very good..

  2. I like K-Lite.. it gives all you will need to play all current file formats.. Includes a resource light Media Player Classic.

    http://www.codecguide.com/about_mega.htm

This should handle all your codec needs

  3. you are having only the dvd viewer you do not have dvd decorder so you should download any dvd program which will have dvd decorder in it

  4. I would suggest getting a more reliable media player.. DivX is a great video player with all of the popular codecs installed...

If it requests a specific codec, go to http://codecs.com and search for the requested codec...

If you would like you could also download the combined community codec pack which holds all of the most used codecs.. http://www.cccp-project.net/

  5. try installing k-lite mega codec pack.It plays all kinds of files from real player to dvd to quick time to avi, divx files. It is totally free....

  6. There are several media players and all of them need different codecs etc.

One needs this, one needs that, another needs this and that.

Why not download a player, that has already this, that and this and that.

Install Gomplayer, go to prefernces  -- others  --  select all

    file types  -- codec
