He's a gift and was fully grown when we got him so, I'm really not sure how old he is. He's not eating so, he's not pooping either. I'm afraid he's dying. Is this constant shedding and not eating a sign of nature that his time to go is near? My little one must be prepared if this is so. I've tried "shed aid" product I bought at local pet store and it didn't work either. His shedding is never complete and it just keeps recurring. Any advice? I'm obviously desperate to do something for him.

  1. For Anoles, it may be normal for them to not eat during the shedding process, and it may be the same for Leopard Geckos.

Does you Leo have a humid box? This really aids in shedding, and it is recomended, since Leos can have a hard time shedding. Here's a link to help you make one: http://ezinearticles.com/?Humid-Hides-Fo...

Basically, get a plastic container, and cut one end off of it to make a little entrance. Fill it with wet paper towel, or moss that can be bought from a petstore. If the cage temperature is right, when you mist the inside of this hide, it should become humid, which is what your Leo needs.

Good luck with your buddy! Give him a pat for me. I hope he does well.
