Coffee Art?

Question

I'm a Barista in training and have just learnt how to steam milk. I'm wondering if i wish to do coffee art, how must i steam my milk? As steaming will cause foam to be created and for the art, i believe little or none foam must be present. So, how do i actually steam the milk required for doing coffee art? Also, is it only possible to draw if i am making Latte. Can i draw while making others drinks as well?
