Coffee and sodas make me sleepy. why?

not a crash or im just tired. duh i take it for that. its as soon as i take the caffeine pills i can feel my heart beat race a ltitle like it does for the speed effect but yet my eyes want to close on me.

It is commonly the caffine,the caffine makes yout body feel way hyper then your body has had enough.

Hmm...I just downed a big can of 180 degrees energy drink, and I feel like I'm going to fall asleep right here at the 'puter.  

Almost funny...But it probably doesn't mean anything, except that I'm sleepy.

It could be that you are having the opposite effect to caffeine.When I was young, I had an ear infection and the doctor gave my mother a drug to put me out for the night, but I was up all night. Sometimes adverse effects happen.

most get hyper, ur having an adverse effect to the coffee

Caffeine crash. Some people skip the hyper stage and go straight to feeling exhausted.
