  1. I know that there's a PJs coffee house and a Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter, but if you're looking for free wifi, I'd look at coffee houses uptown by Loyola and Tulane. You'd have better luck finding something in that direction.

  2. I know this place has free wifi.

Just a few blocks from Jackson Square, this coffee house is nestled in the heart of the historic French Quarter. The red brick walls and mosaic floors are as New Orleans as the French doors that open onto Decatur Street. Customers can sip their coffee and “people watch” as pedestrians stroll by on a sunny day. The espresso bar, which is open until midnight, also serves sandwiches and indulgent Italian pastries. Go bananas with their specialty, the “Jittery Monkey,” which is a Café au Lait mixed with chocolate and banana liqueur.

PJs as earlier mentioned might too.

I also know this place has it. Not a coffee shop but restaurant and bar but pretty quiet if looking to work and sit a while.
