Coffee maker machines!?

Question

okay, so I was thinking.....I really enjoy hot tea, and I was thinking that basically coffee is hot tea only coffee flavored. You know you put the coffee pouch in and you have coffee in your coffee pot...right? So would it be possible to put a tea pouch in instead of a coffee pouch, you know to make hot tea.

Basically my question is

Can you make hot tea with a coffee maker???

hmmm ....never thought about it, but I think it would work !  However, you don't want to use a coffee maker that has been used to make coffee ....the coffee flavor will never go away.

Yes, I do it all the time.

yes you can. either use loose tea leaves in the coffee filter or just fill it up with tea bags
