Everything looks ok I open door put in k-cup machine displays ready to brew but when I push button nothing happens display resets and I get no coffee pump does not start nothing no noise

I got the coffee maker, used, from my daughter. It was working ok when they stopped using it. It made the first cup just fine. The next few cups required cycling it several times to get the water to run through the coffee pod, even though the pump could be heard. I looked up the cleaning process on line, and proceeded to clean it with white vinegar, as per the instructions. Interestingly, the vinegar went right through, a cup at a time, from the first try, with no necessity for recycling, as did the rinsing cycles.
The next morning nothing worked. The power had flickered off once during the night, and the machine's clock was no longer set. I pushed the menu button, and nothing happens. When I turn the machine on, you can hear the water heat up,but no pump noise. The ready indicator does not come on, but if I lift and then close, the brew sign activates, but it won't actually brew. When I push the button to start brewing, the display changes to saying ready.
