Coffee shop drink ingredient?

I was at my highschool's coffee shop, and saw that they had put a white powder into the drinks. I was wondering what it is and where to get it. They put in the drinks that are blended with ice and the flavorings like chocolate.

It may be powdered milk.

Confectioner's sugar, which you can find in the baking section at the super market. It dissolves in cold drinks faster than granulated sugar.

Why don't you ask? Just tell them you're worried about a food allergy, if they won't tell you.
