Coffee training italy?

i want to learn how to chose best coffee , need training for 3 days in italy rome

in italy all kind of coffee are good! ( caffè macchiato, espresso, stretto...)

What to say: Vorrei un caffe americano....  Vorrei un caffe' stretto etc...

You can also say ... Vorrei un caffe' or Vorrei un espresso... Say this will get a short of very very strong coffee.

If you want an American coffee be sure to say caffe' americano.

Drink your coffee standing at the bar.  It is cheaper. If you sit at a table and order a coffee, you will pay more.

They could ask you : al banco ?at the bar or al tavolo ?at the table.   Drink at the bar if you are just stopping for a quick drink, Italians drink their coffee on the run.
