Coil? heating up on EZ Go Electric Cart?

Whatever is between the batteries and the motor gets hot from time to time. I spray WD40 on contacts and pedal linkage and this seems to help. ?

  1. sounds like it could have some serious corrosion in the wiring.

    1st i would have the batteries checked, i know that you have 6 of them but if one is bad, the others are too, or are not far from it.  it usually never works to change just one (as many of the people ive sold them to find out)

    2nd make sure all the terminals havent corroded away.

    3rd look for shorts in the wiring.

    4th something maybe overloading that circuit which you may need a golf cart mechanic to look at.

    if you cant see anything obvious, then definately get someone who knows Golf Carts as soon as you can
