Should I send in a submission form for the ANACS or go to a certified PCGS dealer, I don't know which ones faster/better.

  1. PCGS gets all the credit and it is more a dealer thing. For investment quality coins go there but it is not cheap and you have to go through a dealer. ANACS is best at authentifacation of varieties and a little cheaper. I like their graders and then tend to give a solid grade not a market grade like PCGS. It also depends on what the coin is? I would send my very good 1916-D dime to ANACS, but maybe an 1840 mint state silver dollar to PCGS. Hope I have helped some, I wish you had mentioned the coin though and what grade you think it is.
