I was in babynames.com and was looking at the faces of people with a certain name, I came across the name Nova and basically everyone except 1 person's photo was blonde. Is it a coincidence or something else?

They're little kids, of course I see blond kids everyday but just not that light (platinum)

  1. Yeah, I suppose Its a bit of a coincidence.

One of them definitely isn't blonde though.

  2. wow that is weird

and for the people confused with latin and latino

Latin is a language that originated in ancient rome

Latino is somebody of Latin american heritage they usually speak latin and are not spanish people but are usually tan with dark hair

  3. To the girl above: Latin is FAR from being latino.... it's people like Greek, has nothing to do with hispanics...... besides that thing's wrong, the name comes from north europe

Answering the ?: umm yeah what kalina said. it's a name thats used where blonde people are soooo basically blonde people are gonna have that name (the first girl/guy whatever isn't blonde though)

  4. I've also noticed before that when I type a name into google images nearly everyone with that name looks similar or has similar facial features. It also seems to be the case with personality and fortune - e.g. most Nicolas seem unfortunate and most Lauras seem trashy. Sorry - just an observation, I'm sure there's nothing in it. The names which come from certain cultures or countries may have more people with the facial features common to the people of those cultures/places.

  5. In places of Scandinavian (especially Sweden and Iceland) the name Nova is common on boys, I visit there all the time (it's my home place) and basically almost everyone is blond(e) there, so it's like saying the name Ashanti is African and being surprised some African girl's pictures are there.

  6. thats a little strange, because it says Nova is latin and most latinos are brunettes.
