  1. i think you can have any amount of soda but it can't have caffine

so not cola and pepsi unless it is decafinated

  2. my doctor told me with the darker or decaffeinated sodas to only drink 2 a day, and with uncaffinated i can have up to 4 a day.

  3. If I were you, I would just avoid drinking or eating anything that might be bad for the baby.  If you care about the baby just do what is right.  You won't have anything to regret later.  It's only nine months and if any bad health conditions due to how you took care of yourself come into play on the baby, he/she will have to deal with them the rest of his/her life.  Play it Safe.  Blessings.

  4. a cup or two if they have caffeine in them

  5. I think I read somewhere that the max amount of caffeine you should have while pregnant is around 32 oz of coffee per day.  Soda has less caffeine than coffee, but I would try to stay away from it as much as possible as all that sugar isn't good for you or the baby.  I had one once in a while (it was a craving of mine) but I tried not to make it an every day thing.

  6. When i was pregnant i had one soda aday

  7. I never drank soda while I was pregnant. Just water and milk. I would check with your doctor. Congrats on your pregnancy. It is so beautiful!!

  8. The rule is caffeine in moderation.  Most doctors will say no more than one coffee a day / one regular soda a day.

The advice is also absolutely no diet soda due to the active ingredients of aspartame and the possible to the birth defects related to  phenylketonuria (also called PKU).

For me personally, I made a decision that it's only nine months.  Everything on the moderation list, I moved to my personal "Do not eat." list simply to be as safe as possible.

  9. 15 oz a day is fine

  10. Its best to drink water of course and milk for calcium and fat . I would really steer clear of juices and stick with real fruit . Juices contain a ton of sugar unfortunately . Now , As far as sodas I have had Diet Pepsi all through my pregnancy - BUT maybe one  to 3 a week and my baby is fine :) If you are going to drink soda I really would steer clear of regular cola and Pepsi because  of the high sugar content .

  11. Tomorrow I will be 22 weeks and I have been drinking 2 glasses or one 44 oz of pepsi a day. It was the same with my first pregnancy, I do drink coffee but my bf makes it so weak that it is see through. really weak. he has always made it that way. But after the soda I drink water and juice extra to make up for the soda intake

  12. i had 1 soda a day, my doc said that was the max i should do.

  13. Truthfully, I'm 21 weeks and I drink coke alot. But, I know it isn't good for the baby.

  14. I usually have 2 or 3 caffeine free Diet sodas a week. It's like coffee. You don't need to cut it out. Just alter the way you have it. Coffee= Decaf. Sodas= Caffeine free and diet.

  15. you should not have any cola or pepsi, because those are contains caffeine, which is really the last thing you want to get into your pregnant body. your heart beating fast enough already..
