Cold calling to sell roses!?

Will it work?? I know its a difficult question as it deponds on way too many sectore not only one, But i went around my local area, and with the price im charging the florists were very keen they advised myself to basically carry out rounds...which means driving and cold calling and they would buy if they running low on stock??

Is it me or is she having me on?

  1. Cold calling to sell Roses, or any other product is not advice able at all. Due to unproductive call, you will be increasing your over heads, i.e., selling cost or reduced profit. You are required to have a fair, straight, and simple, trade policy, engaged uniformly with your each retailer.

  2. If you can beat the wholesale prices currently charged, along with instant 'on demand' delivery, I'm sure many Florists would be interested

    By all means cold call all those in your local area and make sure your leave price lists, your mobile phone number and a 'instant delivery' promise.

    Due to costs, it's doubtful if your should continue to visit them all on a regular basis - however it's a good idea to 'drop in' on those you pass after a delivery .. this helps build up a relationship and confirm in their minds that you are 'always available' to do a delivery
